After you’ve created your Reports, it’s crucial to ensure that they make it in front of the right set of eyes. Discover how to export Ganttic’s Reports as a CSV or PDF. As well as how to print them.
Must Know
- All Reports can be saved as CSV for Excel or a PDF file for your digital records. Reports can also be printed directly from Ganttic.
- All Admins and Owners have access to Reports for printing/exporting. and Users with access to Public and Shared Reports can print and export them.
- Refresh Reports manually to get the latest data included.
- Automatic Reports are another way to ensure that your Reports are updated and properly circulated.
- The data table of Charts can also be saved as CSV.
- The Charts can be printed out on paper or as PDF via browser's File > Print > Save As PDF option.
Exporting Reports
- Open the Report List, you’ll find it at this icon.
- Click the name of the Report you want to export. The Report will open.
- Ensure the time period and filters are suitable. Or click Refresh report to make it current with your most recent data.
- In the toolbar at the top, hit Save as CSV to download the report as a CSV file for Excel. The file will automatically download.
OR
Hit Save as PDF to download it as a PDF. The file will automatically download
NB! Check your browser settings if these don't download immediately.
Printing Reports
- Open the Report List, you’ll find it at this icon.
- Click the name of the Report you want to print. The Report will open.
- Ensure the time period and filters are suitable. Or click Refresh report to make it current with your most recent data.
- Hit the printer icon, located at the right. This will open a Printing Dialog
- Choose the formatting options and settings which fit you best and hit Print.
Exporting and Printing Charts
If you’ve created Charts out of your Report's data, it’s possible to export the Chart's data table as a CSV file. Just follow the same workflow above for a Chart and hit Save as CSV.
To print a Chart, use your browser’s File > Print options. Make sure to use Landscape format and enable background graphics to include the colors. Save the Chart as PDF via browser's File > Save As > PDF.
