The Ganttic Mobile App offers simple setup options for customizing your experience according to your needs. These settings allow you to adjust how you view and interact with tasks, resources, and projects across the application.
Must Know
- Resource, task, and project editing rights are set up from the web app - please contact your Owner/Admin if you need additional permissions
- Both Resource and Project based notifications require initial Web App setup before mobile notifications will work
- Only users with appropriate permissions (Owners, Admins, and Users with Resource viewing or editing rights) can configure notifications in the Web App
General Settings
Access the hamburger menu at any level of the app to open General Settings and adjust your mobile app preferences.

Display Options
Show Task count in Gantt
Show or hide the Task count information below each Resource's name in the Gantt view.
Show Task's Project name in Agenda
Display the associated Project name for each Task when viewing the Agenda.
Show Task data in Agenda
Display additional Task Data Fields in the Agenda view. This only applies to Task Data Fields that have been marked "Show on taskbar" in the web application.
Mobile App Push Notifications
Push notifications in Ganttic keep you connected to critical project developments whether you're in the office or on the go. The mobile app supports two distinct categories of notifications:
- Task & Project Activity Notifications - Alerts about structural changes such as new task assignments, task modifications, or task removals
- Notes-Based Notifications - Focused specifically on communication updates when notes are added to tasks or projects
NB! To enable Resource and Project based notifications: first, turn them on in the Web App for each notification type,and then activate them in the Mobile App.
Once activated, you'll receive mobile alerts for assigned resources and project updates.
NB! Notifications from the Web App can be set up by Owners, Admins and Users with Resource viewing or editing rights.

Show in-app notifications
Enable this option to receive in-app notifications while using the app, even if notifications are turned off in your phone's Settings.
This ensures you stay informed about important updates without requiring system-level notifications.
