Project notifications allow project managers and team members to stay up to date with changes related to a project's task, project data and notes. Whenever a new task is assigned or removed, or there are changes to the project name or data fields, everyone involved in the project can receive an alert. This will ensure that all team members are aware of any changes and can adjust their plans accordingly.
Must know
- Project Notifications are email alerts regarding updates to Project related Tasks (new ones added, deleted, changed or Notes added). The options are also including changes to Project Name and Data Field names.
- These alerts can be sent to your personal email as well as the emails of specified Ganttic Users and Non-Users.
- Notifications can be set up by Owners, Admins and Users with Resource viewing or editing rights.
- Project Notifications revolve around a Project's related Tasks, alerting all project members of any changes made to related tasks.
- Only 1 trigger can be selected for each Notification. But every Project can have unlimited Notifications.
- Deleting or Archiving the Project will automatically cancel the reminders and notifications.

Notifications in Action
The Notification Center in Ganttic provides two ways to receive notifications without cluttering your inbox.
By selecting the "Notify in web application" option, users can receive real-time alerts on updates to tasks, which can be viewed in the Notification Center.
NB! To ensure that users are alerted to changes in a resource's tasks, it is important to activate notifications in the Ganttic's web browser's Settings.
In addition to the new Notification Center, you can also be alerted on your computer. By clicking Receive notifications on your computer, even if Ganttic is not open you’ll get a popup alerting you to the updates.
In addition to Project Notifications, it's possible to all receive Resource-based Notifications as well.
